Joining Ginny again in her weekly yarn along...
...still working on this bunting, but at least I've moved onto the hood! (I'm learning as I go and sometimes have to temporarily put it down if I get stuck....until the next knitting circle, that is....:)
I came upon this lovely yarn at the yarn store for 70% off and just had to have it. I'll blame it on the fallish color - it drew me in. (The grand total for 6 hanks was a whopping $13.42 so I'm justified, right?) It's 50% pima cotton and 50% tencel. I believe a worsted weight. Now, if only I knew what to do with it....any ideas???
This week has focused upon a new school routine and helping my daughter with book reports on these two grade school classics.
(Does this count for my reading, too?)
Check out The Willing Cook for a cleaning-product giveaway that includes kitchen towels made by yours truly!

I can't wait to see your completed bunting!!
I don't know what to suggest for that yarn - I have some similar that is stumping me - but there's no use resisting a good sale. ;)

Wow, what a deal on the yarn! Love the color too. It looks like it would make a comfy cowl for autumn.

Definitely counts for reading - we loved both of those books. That yarn is beautiful and the cost is great! I would agree with Nat - a cowl or a neck wrap or scarf would look nice - not too hot in the winter. Can't wait to the see the finished bunting.

I just looked at the bunting pattern and it is adorable! I second the cardigan vote since I think the yarn is beautiful and how great to get it at that price!
PS-The EZ book I'm reading isn't too advanced for you. I have only been knitting a little over a year and have been able to follow along with her other books. Give it a try, I think you'll be surprised.xx

Thanks for those wonderfully soft and beautiful towels! You could always make something for me with all that yarn :) But this time it would be for me, not a giveaway :) You're so good...

Wow, that yarn is gorgeous - so jealous at the price too! Love the colour. Not sure what your yardage is, but a cardigan (if you have enough) would be gorgeous, otherwise a snuggly cowl?
