Pondering

  • There's no vocabulary For love within a family, Love that's lived in But not looked at, Love within the light of which All else is seen, The love within which All other love finds speech. This love is silent. (T.S. Eliot)

Completely normal. We often have three cards going at a time (each with a 50 books limit) YIKES

That's awesome!
Too bad a few of the books that you have I would like to get but neither of the libraries that I go to have them... :( I might have to go to your library.

K

It's normal at our house, and Bend the Rules Sewing has spent some time on our library-books-only shelf!

Our library's limit is 100, and back in the day where everyone was reading off the elementary shelves, we hit 100 many a time!! I could only wish everybody spent that much time reading now. ::sniff::

Ellen

Oh yes! Totally normal. I think I'd bring home more at times if I could actually carry them all. The only downside is overdue fines. Even a one day fine x 40 books can be a lot!

Tina

I'm heading for the library this morning and I will be bringing home 30 or 40 books. That's a normal trip for us. I think the pile gets extra large when you are getting picture books for the little ones. I can bring home 20 of those and not even think about it.

Heehee...this made me laugh because Pete makes fun of me for often having 30+ library books at a time. I'm sure at one point we probably had over 40. Right now, we're around 20, but I've got about 15 more requested that we're waiting to receive! :)
