What wonderful mittens! Wish I had a pair for wearing out in today's snowstorm. :)

Oh those mittens are cute and look so warm and cosy. I've just started a pair but I'm not loving the pattern -- might have to frog them and try your pattern instead. I made the Honey Cowl a while back and love it -- great fun pattern and great FO.

Kristen, you did a great job on the mittens! I can't wait to see your cowl. I am slowly but surely working on my cowl... but with this crazy weather I may not even get to wear it this year if I do finish it :)

Nat

The mitts look adorable :)

And ball winding is definitely progress in my opinion!

Love those mittens! I love a quick mitten pattern, we do need them! I've got that book as well, just looking through it (I do this a lot)but enjoy what I've read. Thanks for stopping by my blog today, glad to have "met you". As for unschooling, we don't exactly unschool, we have books and lessons, but there are many things I do like about unschooling and try to stay relaxed about the whole thing...it is hard sometimes finding a balance, but I couldn't imagine doing it differently.

I am picking up my copy of Living Simply tomorrow. Those mittens are cute. I am with you on this freaky weather. I do want my winter back. I hope everyone is feeling better soon.

Melissa

Don't you just love this weather, despite the fact your kids can't wear cute little mittens. Such a nice job! I can't wait to see your cowl (and swoon a bit over it). I need to check out that book. Did you get it at the library? I hope everyone gets better!

Tracey

The mittens look super! Drat this warm weather for messing up knit wear!
Hope the rest of the family stays healthy!
