awesome! fresh, clean water and it keeps the kids busy ;-)

Reminds me of when we were young!! You just do not see fresh clean spring water anymore.

That would be a treat! And it's okay to drink?

My grandfather used to take empty milk jugs to a nearby natural spring as well, but his weren't free - he had to pay 10 cents for each gallon he pumped. Still a great deal.

I would love that, how awesome.

What a treat! I drove by a place like this visiting relatives in PA a week or so ago, and thought cool fresh spring water...it doesn't really get much better than that. And I love, love, love that it is free to anyone.

  • So glad you stopped by. I'm Kristen, single mama to four awesome kiddos. Here, we keep track of our story. It's far from perfect, but we do our very best! I share a bit about how we manage our time and money as a single-parent family along with our slow-but-steady journey to simple and sustainable, suburban living.

Wishing For Pine Needles

  • This was the name of my "old" blog, for those of you who used to visit us there. But really it's one in the same in this space, and all of my Pine Needles archives can be found right here. As I reset myself to single-motherhood, it only felt right to reset my blog as well. We are the same people, the same family.....just reinvented a bit. Welcome to our new world.....our aspiring little suburban homestead!
