I am almost finished with my thank-you hat that I found on the Purl Bee. (Can we all agree that this website is fantastic?! So many free and beautiful patterns.)
The only reason the hat is not completely done is because I need size 8 double points and do not have them! Hopefully I'll make it out to get them sometime this week. The wool is good, old Patons Classic. The color is the Harvest blend and it is knitting up nicely. I'm liking the funky tye-dye look.

I really do wish I had more to report in the way of reading. I'm battling a dry spell with books lately. I declare myself officially burnt out on homeschooling books for the moment and need something fun and interesting but yet not flaky. I am thinking of checking out The Snow Child....any thoughts??
