Rylen, who is participating in Classical Conversations Challenge A this year, is up to her eyeballs in Latin, Math, Apologetics, Science Research, Expository Writing, and World Geography. And she mostly is having a great time doing it!
But I can tell that sometimes she longs for the good old days of last year when her studies were a little less demanding and her life a bit simpler.
So one recent afternoon, when Marianne had the assignment of drawing a patterned Native American blanket for an art project, I let Rylen take a break from her load to join her sister.
Leave it to her to take this opportunity for a full-on crafting extravaganza, which in the end produced her meticulously sewn fabric masterpiece!
As we plow forward in our homeschooling year, I vow to be more intentional to build more of these projects and crating time into our days. I'm certain this will go over quite well here. :)
Happy Fall Weekend to You!
