Glorious Sunshine

Around here, we are finding warmer days.

Around here, we are basking in glorious bits of sunshine.

 

 
Around here, this balmy weather is taking more and more of our little moments out of doors.

a day in the Sun

Yesterday brought us a sunny break.  Sandwiched between a grey week and an even greyer weekend was a glorious sunny Friday.

It reminds me that even in the midst of cloudy times, the sun is bound to come out again.

Even if it is just for one day.

(I'll take it!)

a weekend in the Country

Our weekend was spent at beautiful Sabbath Song Farm, catching up with friends, each other, and celebrating the beauty of God's creation all around us.  We are so truly grateful for this opportunity!

on the Bright Side

Ahhhh, winter.

There is much that I love about it.

(and equally as much as I don't. ahem.)

I've recently been inspired by Shelley's lovely clementine post and the beautiful, bright orange images that graced my computer screen.  (Could there be anything better than a clementine tree?  Anyone know how I can get one? ;)  Shelley is a friend that I have made through this blogging gig.  She has such natural wit, funny stories, a great family, and a steadfast faith in our Lord.  Check her out sometime!

So, in honor of the clementines,  I decided to post some photos of things that we have come across in our own daily life that make the cold, grey days seem just a bit brighter.

A pleasant surprise outside the window.

Unfortunately I can't take credit for this cool photo of my dala horse.  It was taken by my talented friend, Ellen.  We enjoyed the company of her and her family along with another couple over lunch after church on Sunday.
