:  A lovely backyard bouquet of wildflowers from my oldest girl,

:  A spring break park date with all four of my kiddos and this pose with the bug by my middle girl,

:  More spring break fun.....what could possibly top a giant, inflatable shark slide?

:  Pushing my baby girl in one of her very first swing rides and hearing her awesome tiny giggles.

:  Finally, a little sewing!  And loving that newspaper works every bit as well as tracing paper.

:  Capturing this sweet moment between my grandma and my Lena and feeling grateful for the spread of generations in my life.

: That even through his many shenanigans, my boy is still a doting big brother.  (I think the wee girl has him completely and utterly wrapped around her very small finger!)

:  Bulbs!  In February!!

: That the neighborhood gang was out in full-force this week and the sidewalk chalk made its Spring debut.  Not sure I can remember too many leap years where the temperature was close to 70.

: A very enjoyable Saturday evening spent at this charming coffee shop listening to Sandra McCracken and Derek Webb strum away at their guitars and sing some great songs.  A lovely time with friends....while all four kids spent an evening with grandma and papa.  Let's hear it for grown-up time! (Loved this song...check it out on NoiseTrade!)

: Also, rememembering our neighbors to the south in prayer who lost loved ones in a terrible storm system on Friday.  And being very grateful for a friend's son who was very, very sick but who is now on the mend.  We are so glad for God's amazing healing power and mercy!

:  Snapping lots of pictures of the sweetest little Lena I know.  I can't get enough of this wee girl!

:  Staring a little too long at this antique lamp and trying to figure out which kind of replacement shade would look the best.

:  A little bit of snow!  Hoping for more, but we'll take what we can get this balmy winter.

: Our first attempt at making our own laundry soap...more on this soon!

: Celebrating another birthday with the world's best (great) grandma and feeling glad that all ten of her great-grandchildren were in attendance.

: Neighborhood gang bike rides....in February!

: The way my oldest girl reads, and reads and reads, and trying not to be envious.

: A perfectly awesome gift of fabric from a friend.

: An impromptu walk to the park with the cousins, again, in February!

: Bottle cap necklaces...a hip, new creation around here.

: A favorite brownie recipe that I broke down and made a quadruple batch of.  Yikes!

: A rare picture of me and my babe.

Not pictured was a lovely Saturday evening hosting three dear families for dinner.  And being glad that I finally feel up to hospitality again following our "babymoon".

(Oh, and watching the Superbowl but being ever so silently annoyed that it was not Downton Abbey instead.)

: A big pan of warm, homemade granola

:Loving that my boy loves Legos - and glad for our very first set ever!

: Watching my oldest in her first-ever jump rope performance.  It's unbelievable what these little girls can do with a jump rope!

:  Dicing peppers for some upcoming meals and trying desperately to become more organized in the kitchen.

: Attending a first birthday party for my nephew, Hank.  Happy and sad at the same time for the first and last birthday he'll spend in this state.  Anticipating their move to New England soon!

: Pleasantly surprised by and grateful for a sunny day!

: A January walk outside during some unseasonably balmy weather.

: A visiting owl who has taken temporary residence in our front tree.  He's quite photogenic, isn't he?

 

My good friend has inspired me to join her in "Enjoying."  I can't think of a better way to re-cap some of our many goings-on than in one neat and tidy post!
